The IT Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing Ingalls' IT Compliance program, ensuring that all IT systems and process adhere to regulatory standards and industries best practices. This role involves conducting regular audits, identifying compliance risk and working closely with the IT Compliance team from all HII divisions to collaborate and standardize compliance processes.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
- Design, document and communicate IT processes and controls and identifies opportunities for more efficient and effective processes
- Conduct regular IT compliance audits and risk assessments, reporting findings to senior management.
- Manage and enforce SOX controls, Internal processes and procedures, and additional government regulations
- Lead all audits conducted in IT, which include, but are not limited to semi-annual SOX audits with Internal Audit/External Auditing firms
- Proactively lead applicable IT teams through audit exercises and deficiency remediation.
- Develop and delivery IT compliance training to staff and IT departments
- Manage compliance-related document, such as policies, procedures, and reports
- Communicate governance, risk, and compliance objectives to IT
- Proactively engage with cross functional teams to provide actionable insights for making process improvements; ensuring overall alignment to the IT strategy
Bachelors Degree, plus a minimum of 6 years of applicable IT experience.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Experience with Government regulations that include, but are not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Personally Identifiable Identification (PII/PPI), DFAR, NIST.
Experience with external and executive level presentations.
Experience in project management.
Professional certification in IT Compliance or Governance.
