Position Overview:
The Quality Control Manager will manage the Quality Department resources to deliver the highest quality machined components.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead, direct, and develop a team of Quality Control Technicians.
- Ensure the organization’s Quality ManagAement System conforms to customer, internal, and ISO 9001 QMS requirements.
- Assist in developing and documenting manufacturing and inspection, processes, procedures and control plans.
- Manage inspection gages, (qualify, calibrate, maintain, assemble for jobs, etc.)
- Provide inspection services, (incoming material, in process, subcontracted, and final).
- Participate in new business quoting, design review, and quality planning meetings.
- Communicate directly with customers and suppliers as needed for Quality related matters.
- Assist in providing CNC Machinist training on the proper use of inspection equipment, gages, etc..
- Advise on equipment upgrades and maintenance needs.
- Satisfy customer reporting requirements with regard to quality. (PPAP, FAI Documentation, records, etc.)

Qualifications/Education:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to complete each essential duty to a satisfactory standard. - GED or High school diploma.
- Quality Control Inspection minimum 3 years required.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or 5S principles experience preferred.
- ISO 9001 QMS-3 years experience required.
