Computer Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective management of an organization's computer operations. Implements department policies and procedures to effectively operate and maintain computer systems and peripherals. Being a Computer Operations Manager manages the operation of information system equipment including scheduling workflow, maintenance, and capacity plans. Continuously monitors the efficacy of computer operations, backup processes, system monitors, and server availability to ensure operation goals are met. Additionally, Computer Operations Manager researches and evaluates potential equipment upgrades to improve the capabilities of computer operations. Ensures computer operations activities meet pre-established production targets and maintain operating budgets. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Computer Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Computer Operations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • The VCS SaaS Operations Manager drives the successful implementation and execution of all VCS (SaaS) software products and services including technical support, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The Operations Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including development, sales, and marketing, to achieve business goals and deliver high-quality services to our clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the VCS implementation and support teams ensuring smooth, timely and efficient service.
    • Develops and defines implementation plans, ensuring timely execution that aligns with VCS goals.
    • Monitors the progress of all ongoing implementations and resolves any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.
    • Manages the implementation team to deliver all projects on budget and on schedule.
    • Demonstrates expertise and a thorough understanding of all VCS products and services.
    • Implements best practices to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
    • Ensures all implementations and projects are completed on time.
    • Works closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and development to align SaaS operations with broader business strategies.
    • Coordinates with the development team to successfully launch new SaaS products and features.
    • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) related to SaaS operations such as response time, customer satisfaction, Go Live dates, etc.
    • Builds and maintains a high-performance team of implementation and support specialists by providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching.
    • Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction and retention by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients working directly with clients to ensure deliverables are met.
    • Coordinates the development of training materials and other documents as needed.
    • Possesses the ability to assess, address, diagnose and resolve customer issues and concerns.
    • Plays an integral role in the development of course content for the VCS annual User Conference and trainer assignments.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
    • Proven experience in SaaS operations, preferably in a leadership role.
    • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, technologies, and industry best practices.
    • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
    • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making
