Computer Operations Shift Supervisor supervises and monitors the computer operations of one or more shifts. Leads the operating and monitoring of computer equipment and delegates workflow as necessary. Being a Computer Operations Shift Supervisor uses established procedures to perform routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and its peripherals. Observes peripheral equipment and error messages displayed on the monitor of the terminal to identify faulty output or machine stoppage. Additionally, Computer Operations Shift Supervisor may require an associate degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Job Summary: Our company is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The ideal candidate can see the overall picture, lead by example, motivate and obtain buy in from team members at all levels, and who can help continue to move the business forward.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead the hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees.
Coach, mentor, and train direct reports to align with company goals and objectives.
Identify and implement new methods, processes, and improvements that support Sustained Culture, A Operations and Talent Development.
Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
Remove obstacles that hinder the team’s performance.
Responsible for providing feedback to direct reports on their daily performance.
Partner with HRBP’s to lead and resolve all performance management.
Partner with site leadership to create and maintain schedules and job assignments for their respective departments.
Encompass and drive a safety culture.
Ensure the operation keeps quality and accuracy at the forefront of every transaction.
Proactively works to assist others in achieving the organizations objectives.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Exceptional leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
Experience using a warehouse management system.
Ability to interact professionally with customers and key stakeholders.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3 years of related experience required.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to access and navigate the production facility.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
