Computer Operations Shift Supervisor supervises the computer operations of one or more shifts. Supports and administers data retention/recovery and production job schedule environments. Being a Computer Operations Shift Supervisor performs continuous analysis of production jobs, backup processes, system monitors and server availability and provides solutions, working with all impacted groups. May require an associate degree in a related area. Additionally, Computer Operations Shift Supervisor typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members.
