Plant/Computer Operator  

Colorado Sand is looking for Plant/Computer Operators. The Plant/Computer Operator will be responsible for observing plant operational issues, including monitoring computer display. This position reports to the Plant Leadman.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring proper tonnage is being fed to plants.
• Responsible for observing operational issues as well as monitoring computer display.
• Perform general housekeeping, fueling, and greasing of equipment, crushing plants, and conveyors.
• Perform basic maintenance such as part changes, screen changes, bearing changes, belt splices, and other duties.
• Effectively make necessary changes to control quality of product.
• Ability to operate skid steer, small loader, forklift, and man-lift.
• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as required by company policies.
• Perform maintenance that may involve manual labor such as the use of shovels and fire hoses for clean up during plant down time.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

This position requires climbing, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Must have a valid driver’s license.
