Systems and Network Analyst
The Systems Network Analyst performs the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or systems functional specifications.
The Systems Network Analyst designs, documents, analyzes, tests, and modifies computer systems based on and related to user or system design specifications.
The Systems Network Analyst also provides technical services and support to the bank's employees.
Services include on-site computer and network installation and support. The Analyst must be able to plan and design networking solutions for current and future Bank needs.
The individual must also be able to identify and resolve hardware and software problems related to the LAN and WAN and associated servers, thus ensuring a stable environment for the bank's systems.
The individual will participate in and manage projects involving the LT department from start to finish. The individual should also guide, mentor, support, and teach the lower-level LT employees.
Requirements:
- 5 Years of professional experience in the following
- Network Design, installation and support
- Windows and Active Directory
- Windows DNS and Domain design configuration and management
- Cisco and Microsoft Certification Preferred
- Key Responsibilities include: Primary services include installation, configuration and
- support of servers, networks, and associated equipment including network monitoring,
- and server-to-desktop application support
Essential Elements:
- The application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or systems functional specifications.
- The design, documentation, analysis, testing, or modification of computer systems based on and related to user or system design specifications.
- The documentation, testing or modification of computer systems related to operating systems
- Hands-on experience in server and workstation hardware/software repair/troubleshooting
- Windows Server and Windows desktop OS
- Internet proxy administration Barracuda content filtering
- Thorough understanding of Active Directory principals and best practices
- Mailserver knowledge, including Microsoft Exchange and mail relay services
- Microsoft SQL server configuration and administration
- Security management of firewall configuration, server configuration and desktop clients
- Microsoft Office, including a solid understanding of Outlook/Exchange
- Knowledge of multiple vendor hardware, Dell, HP, Cisco, APC, Barracuda, MobileIron
- Symantec Antivirus, Microsoft Antivirus, and Barracuda Anti-spam applications and service
- Switch and Router configuration and troubleshooting with a strong knowledge of TCP/IP
- VPN and Firewall troubleshooting and management
- Various networking protocols including POP, SMTP, FTP, SSH, HTTP,SSL, RlP, OSPF, etc.
- MobileIron and iOS devices {apple) connectivity to Exchange systems
- HyperV virtual machine installation and support
- Server backup and restores using various methods including Barracuda Backup
- Windows patch management through WSUS and other tools
- Monitoring the server through Nessus, Lansweeper and Manage Engine tools
- Email retention and archiving implementation using Barracuda MailArchiver
- Any other duties requested by Management/ IT/Operations.
