JOB TITLE:   

Concessions Food Service Worker - Basketball Season

JOB PURPOSE:   

• Our goal is to provide quality food with exceptional service to fans attending athletic events. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Assist with event setup, including following all policies and procedures as outlined in opening and closing checklists.
• Count and record inventory at the beginning and conclusion of each event
• Aid in the efficiency of the stands.
• Clean the stands before, during, and after the event.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Always adhere to Athletics Customer Service standards.
• Assist with post-event cleanup.
• Plus, any other duties that may be assigned.

Game day work typically begins 3 hours before Tipoff and ends 1 hour after the event concludes, typically a 5-6 hour day.  Additional setup and downtime hours are available.  Food service and cash handling experience preferred.  Employees must have a high attention to detail and be willing to learn.  Customer Service skills a must. 
Hourly Wage based on skills and experience, starting at $12.00-13.00/hour

Must be able and willing to work most men’s and women’s basketball games.  There are 30 conference games remaining plus possible post season. Weekday games are in the evenings.  Dates are Thursday 11/2, Monday 11/6, Tuesday 11/7, Friday 11/10, Saturday 11/11, Tuesday 11/21, Tuesday 11/28, Tuesday 12/5, Saturday 12/9, Sunday 12/10, Saturday 12/16, Saturday 12/30, Tuesday 1/2, Wednesday 1/10, Saturday 1/13, Saturday 1/20, Wednesday 1/24, Saturday 1/27, Saturday 2/3, Tuesday 2/6, Wednesday 2/7, Saturday 2/10, Tuesday 2/13, Saturday 2/17, Wednesday 2/21, Saturday 2/24, Tuesday 2/27, Saturday 3/2, Tuesday 3/5. REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY: 

This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Education:  High School Diploma or GED
• Must have high attention to detail and be willing to learn.
• Customer service skills a must. 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Food service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Customer Service Skills.
