Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher jobs in Muskegon, MI

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Pour, level, and finish concrete.
• Understand and achieve specified finishes, with attention to detail and quality.
• Prep, place and finish:
  • Site concrete projects including sidewalks, gutters, curbs, and paving. 
  • Commercial slabs from grading to finish including the use of striking/screeding, floats, trowels, and machines to achieve hard finish specifications. 
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including a hard hat, high-visibility apparel, and additional protection as required by the task.
• Work in a variable environment, both indoors and outdoors as well as during inclement weather when required, including extreme heat/cold.
• Communicate effectively with your crew lead, foreman, and superintendent on safety, quality specifications, and problem-solving.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of consistent experience as a concrete finisher.
• Experience with grading and forming preparation.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Providing personal gear including but not limited to steel/composite toe boots, rubber boots, measuring tape, hammer, hammer holster, trowels, and a retractable utility knife. 

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with power trowels.
• Experience with riders.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
