Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing concrete surfaces and be adept at working with various tools and techniques to achieve high-quality results. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively on construction sites.

Duties

• Prepare and finish concrete surfaces by applying various techniques to ensure a smooth and durable finish.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed for concrete placement and finishing tasks.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for shaping, smoothing, and finishing concrete.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and masons, to ensure project timelines are met.
• Perform tasks related to concrete forming, including setting up forms for pouring concrete.
• Restore and repair existing concrete surfaces as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in concrete finishing or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
• Skills in frame carpentry, masonry, drywall installation, and plastering are beneficial.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks consistently throughout the day.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.18 - $29.27 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
