What You Will Do:
Provide excellent customer service to all individuals.
Assist patients with registration, arrival, and check-in processes.
Collect necessary patient, demographic, and insurance information/documents for complete registration.
Obtain required patient signatures and information upon arrival.
Seek assistance from experienced team members for complex registrations.
Perform real-time insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
Explain financial requirements to patients and collect outstanding payments, when necessary.
Handle collections and cashiering tasks and refer patients to Financial Counseling when needed.
Ensure compliance with hospital collection guidelines.
Work shifts at hospital Emergency Admitting departments, including weekends and holidays.
Serve as a mentor and trainer for new associates.
Participate in stand-by rotations as required.
What You Will Need:
High School graduate or equivalent.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
One (1) year of hospital Patient Access experience.
One (1) year of Customer Service experience.
Data Entry experience.
Familiarity with Health Plans/Insurances.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
The annual salary range for this position is $37,300.00-$55,900.00. Compensation will be based on skills, experience, and organizational needs.
