What you will do
Provide operational leadership for system deployments globally, including ITIL Incident, Change, and problem management
Engage with operations in support of ITIL incident, Change, and Problem management
Align with engineering teams to collaborate on future designs, drive product improvement, and focus thinking around operational excellence
Liaise with operations leaders in optimal operations models and capacity planning
Develop, mentor, and Lead junior engineers and product owner(s) for succession planning purposes
Document systems and applications operations and provide run books to the Command Center
Manage a team(s) of Engineers developing automated solutions and tooling in support of the larger business
Ensures that developed solutions meet or exceed compliance and security standards.
Ensures solutions are being developed according to Equifax Engineering standards (ie the Engineering Handbook)
Ensures solutions are developed in accordance with required financial goal
What experience you will need
Bachelor's degree or 7-10 years of related engineering experience; Master’s Degree preferred
Experience working with various standards organizations preferred (PCI, ISO, FedRAMP)
Certification in automation preferred
Experience as a team lead in an automation or systems team
Experience in one or more cloud environments (GCP preferred)
Experience using one or more automation languages (Python, PowerShell, Go)
Experience with programming languages (Java, C#, JavaScript) preferred
Solid understanding of networking
Nice to have experience with other technologies (database, Big Data, AI, etc)

Expertise in both AWS and GCP
Experience leading a team of cloud automation engineers through agile methodology to develop and deploy cloud infrastructure and automated solutions on GCP
Broad knowledge of Google cloud services, how they’re used, and how they interact with application and infrastructure deployments
Hands on experience with Python, Terraform, BigQuery and SQL
Business Intelligence and analytics implementation in identifying and publishing metrics for behavioral indicators
Developing roadmaps, sprint planning, and coordinating dependencies across multiple scrum teams, architects, developers, and SREs
Strong communication and presentation skills for global visibility of the services provided
Stored procedure development for data collection and transformation
