Job description: Outreach Specialist
This position is a part-time, limited hour position of 10-15 hours/week and is directly responsible to the program director. The Natural Resources Assistant takes a leadership role in conservation education and outreach efforts for the Ashland Soil & Water Conservation District with special emphasis on programming and maintenance at the Hazel Willis Woods, volunteer programming and seasons fish and tree sale events. This position will work closely with other district staff to accomplish program goals and objectives. This position will require attendance at educational activities and events on evenings and weekends as needed.
