Bogart Construction’s Estimating Coordinator works as a member on the Estimating Team to provide support on procuring bids at the bidding stage.  This position’s primary function will be to maintain an accurate record of potential bidders The Estimating Coordinator will also be tasked with making sure minimum requirements for bidding are meet for each project.  This includes calling subcontractors daily, submitting thorough invitations to bid to interested parties and following up with those who are interested in bidding prior to the bid dates.  The Estimating Coordinator will field any questions on subs and pass them on to the appropriate parties.

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Work with Estimating Manager and Project Managers to scope projects to bid.
• Maintain master subcontractor database.
• Respond to subcontractor inquiries and/or forward inquiries to Estimating or Project Manager as necessary.
• Track and respond to RFIs
• Prepare and distribute Invitations to Bid
• Schedule Job Walks with all vendors
• Organize bid documents in preparation for estimation.
• Prepare bid documents and templates.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma Required, Four-year degree from an accredited university within the construction, engineering, or business concentrations strongly preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to work independently
