Construction Foreman directly supervises workers' day-to-day work on construction or installation projects. Coordinates subcontractor scheduling and the delivery and placement of on-site materials and equipment as required to execute each project phase. Being a Construction Foreman monitors productivity and work quality to meet schedules and standards. Troubleshoots any issues involving workers, contractors, safety, quality, changes, or processes and expedites solutions. Additionally, Construction Foreman completes or tracks daily time and labor reports. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Construction Foreman supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Construction Foreman typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. We are an established contractor based in Central PA who maintains a strong and consistent workload, provides a broad range of services to our clients and who is looking for driven individuals with at least 3 years of commercial construction experience. Wages are based on experience.
The successful foreman candidate must be capable and have a breadth of knowledge in all aspects of commercial construction; in particular site layout, concrete foundations and wall forming systems, cranes, MEPs, carpentry, building codes, inspection and testing requirements, and storm water management requirements

Successful applicants will also have strong leadership, team building, and communication skills and the ability to use Outlook, Excel, Word, and construction based software. The applicant must be proficient in both English and Spanish languages.
An ideal candidate would be willing to travel around Central PA and have current OSHA 10- or 30-hour certification.
