Job Description

Krazan & Associates, Inc. is looking for Special Inspector- ICC Certifications to join our team in the Bakersfield, CA.

We need an experienced professional who is comfortable being actively engaged on construction sites performing field testing. The candidate must be able to read and understand structural blueprints and current code requirements.

Qualifications:

Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a minimum of 2-year ICC certified inspection experience, and good organizational skills. Must have a current valid driver's license and good driving record.

Special Inspectors with ICC Certifications in the following areas are a plus:

• ICC Commercial Building inspector
• ICC Pre-stressed Concrete Special Inspector
• ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector
• ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector
• ICC Soils
  
  

Here are some of the benefits we offer:

• Our Special Inspectors are assigned a company truck with gas card, which they can also use for their daily drive to and from work
• Our team of inspectors are encouraged to expand their skills and obtain additional ICC Certifications through our in-house company provided training and mentoring (Krazan is an ICC Preferred Provider)

For your safety, keep this in mind: You need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time, walk on uneven ground, perform work inside areas of varying dimensions; involving squatting and crawling for possible extended periods; work outdoors under varying temperatures and weather conditions; regularly lift and/or move 75 lbs. You will be expected to work safely during all phases of performing the job duties by following all regulations, and safety procedures and employment policies. You must have and maintain a good driving record and be insurable under our company vehicle policy.
