Construction Loan Manager jobs in Durham, NC

Construction Loan Manager oversees construction lending officers and processes and conducts business development activities to achieve loan gain and profit objectives in a designated market. Develops relationships with builders and construction companies to obtain referrals and promote lending activity. Being a Construction Loan Manager provides operational guidance, coaching, and support to loan officers. Directs all facets of construction loan processing from origination to closing. Additionally, Construction Loan Manager reviews appraisals and credit analysis to ensure a comprehensive review process and to reduce risk. Authorizes loan requests within established limits or presents loans to loan committee for approval. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Construction Loan Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Construction Loan Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Responsibilities

    As a Danis Project Manager you’ll:

     

    Lead with Vision: Establish project objectives and standards, collaborate with our Project Executive, and ensure projects align with corporate policies.

    Execute Excellence: Oversee project construction to deliver on design, budget, and schedule, taking full accountability for project completion and customer satisfaction.

    Guide & Mentor: Lead project meetings, provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions, and mentor and develop project engineers.

    Demonstrate Financial Mastery: Manage cost control, billings, change management, and cash flows, maximizing profitability and building valuable client relationships.

    Ensure Safety & Compliance: Implement safety programs, maintain meticulous project documentation, and ensure on-time, on-budget completion while mitigating schedule impacts.

    Qualifications

    As a Project Manager you’ll bring:

     

    Educational Background: A four-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

    Experience: A minimum of a 10 years in Project Management, with a focus on at-risk (self-perform) General Contracting, specifically within the healthcare, life sciences, and industrial sectors.

    Project Expertise: At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing on-site, at-risk projects ranging from $5-10 million in the commercial and institutional domains.

    Process Proficiency: A comprehensive understanding of project processes and their pivotal role in ensuring project success.

    Financial Acumen: The ability to adeptly manage budgets, optimize profitability, and foster enduring relationships to secure future projects.

    Critical Thinking: Navigate complex challenges, innovate solutions, and make informed decisions that drive project success.
