Develops and implements quality, performance, and safety standards and procedures for operations. Being a Construction Management Director reviews and approves procurement of required material, equipment, subcontractors, and worker resources. Provides project updates and communicates with clients, contractors, governmental or regulatory officials, and other stakeholders. Additionally, Construction Management Director builds effective team capacity to plan and implement construction projects. Ensures all permits, licenses, or certifications required by regulatory authorities are obtained. Establishes and enforces safety protocols and procedures to provide safe job sites and minimize risk. Monitors costs and timelines and submits required progress reports to deliver projects on time and within budget. Implements best practice construction methods to improve efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes. Requires a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field. Typically reports to senior management. The Construction Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Construction Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:

    The Director of Community Management is responsible to build and lead their team, to promote employee and client satisfaction and retention, and to deliver local market growth. The Director is responsible for knowledge of accounts in the assigned portfolio and implementing and executing a communication program to reach clients on a consistent basis.

    • Establish and maintain positive relationships and communicate successfully with both internal and external parties.
    • Develop and execute networking events like hosting periodic educational events and/or seminars for RowCal clients and board members.
    • Provide supervision, oversight, and training for Community Managers.
    • Perform annual Performance Reviews for management team along with regular check-in's to ensure employee retention and success.
    • Maintain, network, and proactively hire the community management team as needed.
    • Directly responsible for client satisfaction including support via meeting attendance, ensuring execution of action plans, and transition managers as necessary.
    • Regularly maintain a client and manager temperature measurement and follow up with action steps, as necessary.
    • Provide support in efforts to increase revenue and services of RowCal Construction & Maintenance projects.
    • Responsible for timely reporting on client portfolio and division metrics
    • Responsible for the management team's execution of all contracted deliverables to clients.
    • Responsible for the adherence to company programs and directives.
    • Responsible for teams' efforts to successfully utilize integrated services to clients.
    • Directly responsible for observing, displaying, and promoting the company pillars, values, goals, and branch management plan. Promote and lead a positive culture, creating an exciting and collaborative work environment.
    • Cooperate with all the local metropolitan area's director(s) to successfully manage the current large-scale market of the state.
    • Takes the lead on the local networking and building market awareness of the RowCal brand.


    Requirements/Skills

    • Five years or more experience in property management preferred
    • 3 years or more experience as an acting manager preferred
    • Single Family Management/Home Owners Experience preferred
    • Associates or Bachelor degree preferred
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficient with Microsoft office
    • Able to problem solve and work independently
    • Must have valid drivers license and have the ability to drive around the local market on a regular basis
