Summary:

Black Rock Construction Management is a general contractor located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The working jobsite superintendent is responsible for running the day-to-day operations on the construction site. Coordinate subcontractors, manage material/equipment, and ensure plans and specifications are followed. The role of the superintendent includes monitoring quality control, confirming proper inspections are completed and job site safety.

Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 7 years of commercial or industrial construction experience
• Must possess the ability to proactively identify problems (or potential problems) and urgently initiate action plans
• Demonstrate a drive for results
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications
• Experience with a variety of different projects is a plus

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule and meet with inspectors
• Direct day-to-day onsite supervision of subcontractors and labor force
• Ensure that the subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work
• Schedule work among subcontractors according to project needs and coordinate work so that a smooth work flow is maintained
• Assist in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) as required to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Perform misc. carpentry tasks as needed
• Install in-wall backing, misc. accessories, doors, jambs and hardware on an as needed basis
