The HSC Facilities Office within HSC Finance and Administration provides oversight and directs a wide variety of construction projects from a simple office move, to a laboratory renovation with state-of-the-art equipment, to the construction of a new building. The UNM Health Sciences’ is compromised of the following areas: UNM Health System, School of Medicine, UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center, Project Echo, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy, College of Population Health, and Office of Research.

This position would oversee and assist in projects for UNM Health Sciences areas. The Sr. Project Construction Mgr position requires in depth organizational knowledge and skills, as well as a deeper understanding of construction and engineering processes to be successful in this position.  This position will lead assigned portions of capital projects to advance the mission of the UNM Health Sciences Center, and engage collaboratively as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with stakeholders across multiple groups and organizations, including University Hospital, UNM Health Sciences Center, UNM, and external consultants. The position will independently manage assigned capital projects or capital program tasks, to ensure that the project and program goals are met within the prescribed time frames and funding targets.  The Sr. Project Construction Mgr reports to the Assoc Dir, Capital Projects and is part of a team of 4 at the Health Sciences Capital Projects Office.
