We are looking for a qualified Accounts Payable Representative to add to our team.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• The ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail is a must.

• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Respond to all vendor inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Responsible for paying or accruing appropriate sales/use tax on all invoices.
• Keep track of credits owed to the company and ensure all credits are properly applied to vendor payment.
• Interacts with various staff, at all levels as required, to meet strategic objectives.

Experience:

• Accounts Payable or Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
• Experience in construction industry or job costing (preferred)

Summary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00 - $45,760.00 per year
