Construction Supervisor jobs in Hobbs, NM

Oversees all maintenance and construction in the City park system. Coordinates and assigns the work of parks employees so as to complete projects in a timely manner.

Prepares and monitors the annual budget. Makes recommendations for budget modifications or additional funds.

Ability to sit, stand and transport self from building to building. Employee will work in various temperate conditions. May be exposed to chemicals such as herbicides and insecticides when assisting with application. Position requires some lifting.
 

Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, the City departments, city and statewide organizations, the general public and contractors.

Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance and construction in a park system. Ability to work with the public, employees and contractors.

Considerable experience in construction and park facility maintenance required. Completion of high school diploma and graduation from college or university with a parks and recreation degree or related field is highly desirable. Valid Texas driver's license required.
