Consultant - Education jobs in Orange, CA

Nationally ranked CPA firm is hiring REMOTE/HYBRID tax professionals who have experience working with insurance company clients, and/or strong C-Corp experience. This a great opportunity to advance your tax career in this space, or learn a niche. Recent CPA firm experience is a must. Will offer remote flexibility only if you have insurance company tax preparation experience. All other industry client experience the firm will allow you to work in a Hybrid environment. Must work through Irvine, CA location.

• Prior work with insurance company clients OR strong knowledge of C Corps and desire to specialize
• Experience with forms: 1120-PC, 1120 L, ASC 740, SSAP 101
• Prepare and/or review returns according to your prior experience
• Deliver tax services in line with your skills and experience
• Knowledge of this tech stack helpful: ProSystems FX, CCH engagement, Go Systems, One Source, Fast Tax

• CPA preferred
• BA in Accounting
• MA in Taxation preferred, not required
• Recent or fairly recent CPA firm experience REQUIRED
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills
