Consumer Loan Officer

Corning Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Loan Officer to join our team in the Lending Contact Center.

As a Consumer Loan Officer, you will: 

• Assist our members in determining what the best loan options are for their individual situations
• Gather applicant information, review and analyze credit reports, and make sound lending decisions
• Provide exceptional service, support, and education to our members, including recommending additional products and services to meet their financial needs

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Quality results mindset with strong analytical and judgment skills
• Positive attitude and the desire to work in a team environment
• A bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, commensurate work experience will also be considered
• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Prior lending experience is preferred but not required as CCU will provide extensive training to the ideal candidate
