Consumer Credit Supervisor supervises underwriting operations and oversees the loan application review process to determine loan eligibility and terms. Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the underwriting team to ensure that loan screening is conducted timely, accurately, and in compliance with all regulations. Being a Consumer Credit Supervisor provides loan options or product recommendations based on qualifications and keeps the team updated and informed of new products, regulations, or product changes. Assists customers through the loan process by researching and answering complex or unique customer inquiries, clarifying details, and coordinating with internal parties. Additionally, Consumer Credit Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Consumer Credit Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Consumer Credit Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    In this Credit Specialist role, you will provide crucial support to the Finance Manager in all of the department’s credit collection activities, as well as acting as the go-to person for training team members on company policies and legal requirements. Your daily activities in this role will consist of the following:

    • Participating in new hire training to Credit Administrators.
    • Filing claims for credit card chargebacks.
    • Filing and tracking all bankruptcies and 3rd Party Collections.
    • Creating Charge Offs for processing.
    • Submitting Reserves Requests
    • Working directly with attorneys for assigned collections.
    • Assigning and processing Truck Liens with attorneys.
    • Processing and scheduling auctions as needed.
    • Reviewing, analyzing, and providing recommendations for financing requests through Pacific Rim Funding.
    • Working directly with General Managers and Finance Managers as needed.
    • Producing monthly currency reports.
    • Unclaimed Property Reporting.
    • John Deere Financial OTC User Administrator
    • Setting up new customer accounts as needed.
    • Providing customer assistance for copies of invoices and questions on customer accounts as requested.
    • Accepting payment on accounts as needed.
    • Other duties as may be assigned.

    WHAT YOU NEED:

    • Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Excellent communication skills, including appropriate telephone etiquette and professionalism.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook & Strong Excel skills.
    • Prior credit and collection experience preferred.
    • Ability to work seasonal overtime as required.

    Compensation: $27-40/hr (Depending on Experience)
