Consumer Credit Supervisor supervises underwriting operations and oversees the loan application review process to determine loan eligibility and terms. Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the underwriting team to ensure that loan screening is conducted timely, accurately, and in compliance with all regulations. Being a Consumer Credit Supervisor provides loan options or product recommendations based on qualifications and keeps the team updated and informed of new products, regulations, or product changes. Assists customers through the loan process by researching and answering complex or unique customer inquiries, clarifying details, and coordinating with internal parties. Additionally, Consumer Credit Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Consumer Credit Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Consumer Credit Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. As a Card Center Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following:- Assisting in overseeing the daily operations of the department; focusing on member service standards, meeting organizational goals, and maintaining positive and professional relationships with members, peers, staff, and vendors.
- Developing and implementing new plans and procedures to enhance operating efficiency.
- Assisting in various levels of service delivery and business objectives for the department, and also oversee third party processors reconciliation via General Ledgers.
- Supervising their assigned staff and coordinating their schedules, developing them, and ensuring they provide exceptional service.
- Assisting with the oversight of the department’s programs and related services.
- Aiding departmental leadership in implementing, overseeing, and achieving department goals and objectives.
Salary Range:The salary range is $ 92,273- $115,342; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Education/Experience:You must have a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and four years of experience in the ATM/Debit Card, Credit Card Management required. One additional year of supervisory experience or experience at the lead or senior level is also required.Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education. Applicable additional education levels may be eligible to satisfy experience requirements. Credit Union experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority.
Keys to success:In order to be successful as a Card Center Supervisor, you must possess these qualifications:- Knowledge of TFCU policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of VISA USA, VISA International, and MasterCard International operating rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
- Knowledge of ATM and ITM maintenance.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Knowledge of host network operations and procedures.
- Ability to use Symitar, TransFund/ FIS, Data Navigator/eAccess, Fiserv, PSCU, Network Manager, XNET/ Prepaid card systems, CardWizard, and Diebold iConnect systems.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to self-motivate, self-direct, and set priorities based on goals and objectives.
