Consumer Lending Branch Auditor reviews the consumer loan materials and data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company guidelines and policies as well as state and/or federal statutes within one branch. Makes recommendation to improve procedures and other improper documentations accordingly. Being a Consumer Lending Branch Auditor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Consumer Lending Branch Auditor typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The processor is directly responsible for confirming that loans handled by the Loan Processing department are generated in compliance with bank policy. The loan processor ensures the bank’s security interest have been properly documented and that any documents to be received after funding are received and properly recorded. This entry level is closely monitored by a supervisor/manager to ensure proper documentation, policies, procedures, and general practices are in conformity with bank standards and regulatory guidelines.
To ensure the loans and renewals are closed in compliance with the banks loan policy and in compliance with any other requirements of loan request.
To accurately generate basic Laser Pro documents for the loans in an efficient manner. Ensure disclosures are accurate and delivered timely to borrowers.
To assist other Loan Processors in the preparation of loan packages.
To review loan packages to identify any documentation problems before the documents are given to the loan officers.
To work with bank personnel/attorneys to coordinate loan closings. Review and clear collateral exceptions.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), 2 years of experience in a bank working with the commercial and/or consumer loan documentation or legal background.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel and Work Processing software and Imaging systems. Familiar with Laser-Pro system or comparable loan documentation software.
