Consumer Loan Area Manager directs the consumer loan department of a financial institution or other organization. Oversees the research, development, communication, and implementation of consumer lending policies. Being a Consumer Loan Area Manager analyzes lending data to identify risks, trends, and areas for improvement. Ensures lending volume and profit goals are met. Additionally, Consumer Loan Area Manager develops a productive staff with training and coaching. Monitors compliance with federal and state lending regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Consumer Loan Area Manager manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Maintain the smooth and timely flow of plant production ensuring a quality product is delivered to the next operation and customer. Achieve the business goals of the operation including cost, quality safety, and delivery. Coach, develop, and support hourly associates. Hold associates accountable for attainment of objectives. Drive Business Center strategies to the floor level.
Responsibilities:

Lead and promote safety in all aspects of the plant.
Lead adherence of all procedures, audits, practices, and standard work within the operation.
Develop employees and foster a team culture.
Develop, maintain and provide continuous improvement in his/her team.
Education and experience:
Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of relevant work experience or 5 years relevant work experience without a degree required.
Experience in tire manufacturing processes preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Strong communication and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of safety and quality procedures, HR policies, and budgeting.
Ability to lead teams.
