Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor supervises a group of consumer loan collectors and assists in developing strategies to minimize collection portfolio loss. Assists in designing and administering collection processes, policies, and procedures, also supervises use of computerized collection systems. Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes.
