Being a Consumer Loan Processor verifies all documentation for accuracy and completeness. Tracks and monitors due dates. Additionally, Consumer Loan Processor ensures all documents are prepared and finalized in compliance with regulatory policies and procedures. Inputs and maintains all required transaction and processing records according to procedures. Responds to inquiries. Prepares required regulatory reporting. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Consumer Loan Processor works under moderate supervision. - Position Summary In office position, responsible for providing support for all consumer, Indirect Lending (CUDL), and home equity loan processing activities as well as performing a variety of loan servicing functions for the centralized lending area including maintaining and processing supporting loan documents, and completing clerical duties. Receives and performs initial review of loan applications. Obtains and verifies necessary information and prepares all documents necessary for closing consumer and home equity loans. Coordinates and assists with loan closings, including e-signings. Types and handles miscellaneous paperwork including verification of employment/insurance, trust reviews, and subordinations. Maintains files and answers telephones calls. Provides professional service to members via support branch lending staff. Qualifications/Experience At least two years of related experience in Consumer Loan Processing or the equivalent. Understanding of consumer and home equity loan products and services. Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures. Understanding of HSFCU policy and procedures as it pertains to loan processing functions. Good verbal and respectful people skills. Working knowledge of computer applications including Windows, File Explorer, Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be organized and ability to multi-task. Able to operate typewriter, 10-key, and other basic business machines. Able to work efficiently and in an organized manner. Ability to adapt to changes in work environment or work process. Good basic math skills. Salary Range Minimum - $36,096 Maximum - $50,535
