RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
The Quality Assurance Auditor reports to the Quality Assurance Manager in all matters affecting the Airworthiness, performance, and adherences to safety standards. The Quality Assurance auditor is responsible under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager for coordinating, directing, and controlling the internal evaluation program. His/her duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to following:
· Perform internal and external audits to monitor compliance of Company Procedures and practices in accordance with FAA requirements, and as required by the Repair Station Quality Control Manual (RSQCM), Forms Manual Procedures for all Xtreme Aviation Stations (Heavy and Line stations).
· Review and audit all work documents received from customers prior to assignment to Production Control.
· Progressively assure that all work-related documents are properly audited, including logbook pages for completeness, maintenance manual references, certificates of conformance, material certification, 8130’s certificates, verification of tooling loan documentation, Engineering Orders, Engineering Authorizations, and Form 337, as applicable.
· Participate in pre-induction meetings confirming paperwork conformance and acceptance of aircraft induction.
· Progressively supervise maintenance checks being performed to ensure that the highest level of safety is being achieved.
· Make sure that Airworthiness Directives are audited denoting methods of compliance, AD numbers, followed by the corresponding Service Bulletins, findings, and corrective actions.
· Make sure that the recording procedures include the names of the person performing the work, his appropriate certificate number or stamp, and the date the work was accomplished.
· Do a daily walk around of the hangar and stockroom areas and ascertain that the facility is in safe working conditions. Note faulty equipment and misplaced objects and have them addressed and corrected.
· Assure that all incoming material, to include new parts, passes, the receiving inspection.
· Assure that parts are properly identified and tagged, as per RS/QCM during storage and while the work is in progress. Ascertain that all forms used are properly completed.
· Maintain Company approved vendor listing by performing scheduled audits.
· Audit company’s calibration program.
· Inventory all products inventoried contain the Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
· Processes conducted audits to ensure that inspections procedures, techniques and methods are followed by all personnel.
· Recommends training for personnel when deficiencies are noted or the opportunity for improving the operation of all departments.
· Maintain coordination with the Director Quality Assurance, Director of Maintenance, and Director of Quality Control and inform them of any unsafe condition, trends, or occurrences.
· Accomplish periodic audits of XTREME AVIATION LLC. in accordance with the company’s internal evaluation and follow-up audit program. Ensures corrective action is taken on all discrepancies documented during the audit.
· Assist the Manager Quality Assurance on his/her assignments.
· Must read, write, and understand English language.
· Shall be knowledgeable with the FAR 145 Repair Station/Quality Control Manual, Forms Manual and Federal Aviation Regulations pertinent to the company operation.
· Shall possess the knowledge and ability necessary to perform the work and recommend corrective actions on deficiencies.
· Able to meet deadlines, objectives and deliver results.
· Ability to learn and remain calm and focused under pressure.
· Requires having an Auditor Training certificate.
· Assist with all safety related matters as required.
· Other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality.
