The Loan Servicing Clerk is responsible for performing file maintenance on the loan system and satisfying research requests submitted by bank personnel.
1. Performs requested system file maintenance. This duty is performed daily.
2. Processes loan renewals, extensions and modifications. This duty is performed daily.
3. Satisfies research requests submitted by bank personnel. This duty is performed daily.
4. Processes participation transactions. This duty is performed as needed.
5. Processes loan denials. This duty is performed as needed.
6. Maintains loan system escrow. This duty is performed as needed.
7. Processes floor plan transactions. This duty is performed as needed.
8. Inputs new loans prepared outside of bank. This duty is performed as needed.
9. Inputs attorney prepared loans to the mainframe system. This duty is performed as needed.
10. Researches credit bureau disputes. This duty is performed as needed.
11. Processes paid out loans. This duty is performed as needed.
12. Inputs and maintains AFT and ACH records. This duty is performed as needed.
13. Processes late charge waivers. This duty is performed as needed.
14. Processes loan payments made via internet. This duty is performed daily.
15. Sends information and corresponds with third party insurance tracking company. This duty is performed daily.
16. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines. Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must provide excellent customer service to both external and internal customers. Must perform all duties in an accurate, efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all internal controls and established bank policies and procedures. Will participate in activities and special events and represent the bank in community affairs and civic organizations.
