Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor supervises the daily activities of a loan servicing team. Oversees and coordinates processing and documenting loan transactions, insurance, and tax bills, and performing escrow analysis. Being a Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor ensures that loan transaction files are accurate and complete, and that staff complies with appropriate procedures, regulations, and guidelines. Performs quality checks and resolves issues. Additionally, Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor monitors workload and allocates resources to meet production goals. Coaches and trains team. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a senior manager or head of a unit/department. The Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Opportunity Bank of Montana is adding to our outstanding team with a Loan Servicing Department Manager in Helena, Montana. The Loan Servicing Department Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Company's entire loan servicing functions, processes, and risk controls. Additionally, you will ensure loan accounting and data integrity and mitigation of operational risk in the loan accounting system for all business lines including but not limited to loan data input, maintenance, escrow administration, servicing, quality control, advance & payment processing, investor reporting, participation services and the highest level of customer service to both internal and external clients. Mortgage servicing is a key part of this department, but all types of loans and lines of business fall under this department.
Education and Experience Requirements
4-year college degree (accounting, business, finance, management or related) and/or 5 years relevant experience - or equivalent combination of education & experience
Supervisory & leadership experience
Extensive knowledge of loan servicing related systems, software and providers, regulatory and compliance requirements and current related issues, and regulations
Extensive knowledge with Mortgage & Commercial/Ag investor and participation guidelines and requirements
Education and Experience Preferences
5 years leading and managing a loan servicing team
Experience with Fiserv Premier software
