Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Radiology Services Manager and direct supervision of the Radiology Services Supervisor and according to established policies and procedures, performs radiological procedures and is directly responsible for the coordination of the Mammography Quality Assurance program. Work is of a confidential nature. Performs other work of the department as required.
An associate degree in Radiologic Science (or equivalent). Must be a registered radiologic technologist in good standing and completion of a formal radiologic technologist training program or equivalent with 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Must be a registered Mammographer in good standing with 2 years experience as a Mammographer.
CPR certification required and provided.
