The Center Store Manager ensures that our customers’ needs are met and exceeded through effective day-to-day management of the operations and merchandising functions for the Center Store Department. This position oversees Center Store product and conditions to optimize sales, profits, and customer satisfaction (including back room and steel/shelving and conditions, inventory, schematics, and pricing).
The Center Store Manager provides leadership and direction to Center Store associates to promote a culture reflective of Lucky's mission statement and winning behaviors. This position trains and develops associates to enable their success and ability to advance in their careers. The Center Store Manager manages department performance and productivity to optimize store performance.
Education: Two-year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)
Experience: Completion of Assistant Center Store Manager rotation – or - two years equivalent management experience – or - in current Bakery Department Manager or Meat Department Manager or Produce Department Manager role
Other: Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours; must be forklift certified
Physical: Requires standing and other physical movements on a frequent basis. Requires lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance
