Contact Center Representative - Inbound answers incoming customer calls inquiring about products with a focus on selling products or services. Performs call logging and routine tasks to fulfill caller requests. Being a Contact Center Representative - Inbound answers inquiries regarding the company products, services, delivery, installation, or billing following scripts or standard responses. Enters orders and assists the customer with the purchase by suggesting appropriate products. Additionally, Contact Center Representative - Inbound may redirect calls to other teams depending on the nature of the inquiry. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Contact Center Representative - Inbound works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     Description of Role:
    Mountaineer Employment Solutions has partnered with a medical center in St. Albans, WV. They are currently seeking qualified Patient Contact Representatives. This position will primarily be responsible for handling a large amount of calls in a timely manner with a focus on excellent customer service.

    Tasks:
    • Achieve desired customer service levels
    • Obtain accurate information when scheduling, including patient demographics, insurance and purpose of visit
    • Obtain complete and accurate information when taking phone messages/patient cases
    • Follow standardized schedule templates
    • Manage large amounts of calls in a timely and effective manner
    • Routing calls appropriately
    • Schedule appointments, including entering and updating patient data in the computer system and informing patient of any preparations needed for the visit
    • Providing excellent customer service
    • Researching customer problems
    • Identifying customer needs while providing the right solutions to customers
    • Doing appointment reminder calls the day before for any patients that have not confirmed their appointment
    • Other duties as assigned

    Skills and Requirements:
    • Previous healthcare experience preferred
    • Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills & effective interpersonal communication skills
    • Minimum education, high school diploma or equivalent
    • Must have the ability to operate computer systems
    • Excellent customer service skills preferred
    • Must have specific vision abilities including, close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
    • Must be friendly and personable
    • Prior computer experience preferred
    • MUST provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination

    Work Schedule:
    • Full-time
    • Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

    Compensation:
    • Starting at $14.00 per hour
