Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) supervises contact center agents that make and receive calls focused on selling and promoting products or services. Monitors and evaluates interactions, workflow, and metrics to meet performance standards and sales targets. Being a Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) coaches agents in best practices to respond to customer inquiries using scripts, dialogues, or talking points and how to identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services. Ensures that routine service requests are processed or redirected correctly. Additionally, Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) responds to and resolves escalated issues or transfers complex requests to appropriate support teams. Prepares staff work schedules to ensure coverage and coordinate training. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.   • Position:           Counseling and Special Services Director (Includes Disability Services)

    Savannah Technical College is seeking an experienced Counseling/Special Services Director.  The position reports to the Student Navigator.  Duties may include, but are not limited to:

    • Assisting the supervisor with discipline-related matters;
    • Offering workshops and seminars with regard to wellness programming;
    • Referring students to community agency resources when necessary;
    • Researching and analyzing program/operation data;
    • Generating regular and ad-hock statistical and informational reports to supervisor and all pertinent staff;
    • Obtaining documentation from disabled students and notifying instructors of necessary accommodations;
    • Serving as a liaison between students and notifying instructors of necessary accommodations;
    • Conducting workshops and seminars relevant to special populations, disability services, etc.;
    • Recommending and ordering of special adaptive equipment;
    • Supervising per diem and expenses of disabilities related contractors - i.e. test readers, interpreters, etc.;
    • Ensuring that the college is in compliance with ADA-related mandates;
    • Providing special services for students representing special populations-i.e. displaced homemakers, single parents, etc.;
    • Producing special reports for the college, TCSG, or other appropriate external agencies;
    • Maintaining a comprehensive and state-of-the-art "Learning Library.";
    • Assisting with the design and execution of special events, projects and activities as requested;
    • Creating and maintaining a high-performance environment characterized by positive leadership and a strong team orientation;
    • Displaying a high level of effort and commitment to performing work;
    • Operating effectively within the organizational structure;
    • Demonstrating trustworthiness and responsible behavior;
    • Maintaining knowledge or current trends and development in the field by attending professional development training, workshops, seminars and conferences and by reading professional literature in the related field;
    • Performing other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in related field, *and* three (3) years of work related experience.  Successful candidate must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills in order to serve a diverse student population.   Excellent computers skills are also required, to include Microsoft Office Suite experience.

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in guidance and counseling (agency or school) or social work, *and* three (3) years’ experience in counseling services or social work.  Experience working in a two-year technical or community college with an emphasis on providing personal counseling to a diverse population of students.  Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume student affairs operation.  Experience with BANNER.

     

    Physical Demands

    The employee occasionally lifts or moves objects of a light to medium weight.  Work is typically performed in an office environment with intermittent sitting, standing, or walking in various settings.  The employee must be able to life up to 25 pounds.  Full range of hand and finger motion may be utilized for data entry purpose. 

    Salary/Benefits
    Salary is commensurate with education and work experience.  Benefits include paid state holidays, annual and sick leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits package.
