Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) supervises contact center agents that make and receive calls focused on selling and promoting products or services. Monitors and evaluates interactions, workflow, and metrics to meet performance standards and sales targets. Being a Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) coaches agents in best practices to respond to customer inquiries using scripts, dialogues, or talking points and how to identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services. Ensures that routine service requests are processed or redirected correctly. Additionally, Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) responds to and resolves escalated issues or transfers complex requests to appropriate support teams. Prepares staff work schedules to ensure coverage and coordinate training. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Position: Counseling and Special Services Director (Includes Disability Services)
Savannah Technical College is seeking an experienced Counseling/Special Services Director. The position reports to the Student Navigator. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in related field, *and* three (3) years of work related experience. Successful candidate must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills in order to serve a diverse student population. Excellent computers skills are also required, to include Microsoft Office Suite experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in guidance and counseling (agency or school) or social work, *and* three (3) years’ experience in counseling services or social work. Experience working in a two-year technical or community college with an emphasis on providing personal counseling to a diverse population of students. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume student affairs operation. Experience with BANNER.
Physical Demands
The employee occasionally lifts or moves objects of a light to medium weight. Work is typically performed in an office environment with intermittent sitting, standing, or walking in various settings. The employee must be able to life up to 25 pounds. Full range of hand and finger motion may be utilized for data entry purpose.
