We are seeking an Operations Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. The main function of this role is to ensure that the different departments in the company follow through with the plans and devices he/she makes for the business’s success. The role is 100% remote to these locations: Baltimore, MD, Boston, MA, Houston, TX, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Fremont, CA .
What You’ll Do:
Direct the activities of the various departments in the company and is concerned with pricing, sales, production, and distribution of the company’s products
Responsible for managing the employees, creating their work schedules, and distributing their duties
Determine employment requirements as well as interview and hires prospective employees
Train the newly hired employees
Manage all the activities that are associated with the production of the products the company offers
Responsible for managing the performance of the employees such as sales promotions, coordinating with different division leads, planning the layout and design of the store, and setting the prices and credit terms, as well as identifying goods and services to be sold
Supervise the remodeling of current amenities and represent the company during client meetings and negotiations
Handle problems in a calm and collected manner, even when under pressure
Must-Haves:
8-10 years of relevant work experience
Supply chain experience
Program management experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and other Windows-based computer programs
Excellent organization and mathematical skills
Experience with payroll processing and wage attachment
Good communication skills
Network infrastructure experience preferred
Comfortable picking up the phone when something isn’t going right and talking to people
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field preferred
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week . This role will be 100% remote .
