Job Title: Manager, Digital Content
Main Purpose of Job: Digital Content Marketing
Reports to: Director, Marketing
Hours of Work: As required Monday to Friday, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Location: Wichita, KS
The Manager, Digital Content is responsible for the oversight of all the Wichita Wind Surge website assets, including windsurge.com, as well as playing a key role in marketing strategy decisions and execution regarding digital and paid social media advertising budgets.
This position will report to and work closely with the Director, Marketing in developing a digital marketing strategy, including Wind Surge web assets and external marketing spends. The Manager, Digital Content will also play a role in internal project management.
Job Function:

Oversight and management of all Wichita Wind Surge web assets.

Work closely with department leaders to curate and maintain website content, including Ticketing, Partnerships, Events, Foundation, Team Store, etc.

Plan, coordinate, and execute changes to website content and images.

Monitor and track the progress of campaigns. This includes monitoring and analyzing web analytics and searching for trends in the customer experience.

Review and assess content to ensure conformance with platform requirements, title tags, meta descriptions, and other SEO best practices.

Ensure the website is following SEO best practices and make suggestions for improvement.

Monitor other MiLB websites for changes, features, and functionality that we may want to implement ourselves.

Assist in developing a full digital marketing strategy, including paid social media, SEM, programmatic/display ads, and other external advertising spends.

Assistance with internal project management.

Provide support for targeted email marketing campaigns, including graphic design, copywriting, and testing/sending marketing emails.
Preferred Qualifications:

Website management experience.

Google Analytics and Google Ads certification.

Experience developing and executing digital marketing strategies.
-
The ability to provide creative support to Graphic Designers.
