In addition, Continuous Improvement Specialist also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Establishing and maintaining plant KPI’s supported by Plex or database systems. Recommends analytical techniques for data collection, gathers data; analyzes and interprets data; prepares reports and makes recommendations. Developing of the annual performance improvement project, innovation project. Reviews and analyzes departmental budgets; may monitor and administer department budget. Identify process inefficiencies and leading activities using cross-functional teams to deliver improvement results. 6-Communicating findings and economic recommendations to leadership. Participate in business case development and prioritization of technology and/or business process driven projects. 8-Evaluate operational issues to determine how competitive and current it is with the last trends in the industry.
