We are looking for a property manager to be responsible for the direct management oversight of an assigned LIHTC residential property. The goal is to maximize asset value, customer satisfaction, and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned property.
• Collect and deposit all rent payments.
• Process new tenant move-ins and tenant move-outs.
• Fill out all Louisiana LIHTC certifications.
• Schedule and complete apartment showings for prospective residents.
• Complete lease renewals to ensure high tenant retention rates.
• Inspect units and oversee maintenance employees.
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants.
• Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract tenants.
• Position reports to regional property manager.

Skills

• Property Management Experience (low-income housing)
• Knowledge of Louisiana tenant income certification process
• Knowledge of basic computer systems and ability to quickly learn new software
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to quickly address and solve problems
• Well organized with excellent time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• On call

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Property Management: 2 years (Required)
• LIHTC Property: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Baton Rouge, LA 70807: Relocate before starting work (Required)
