SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Assists Project Managers and Superintendents by coordinating and performing administrative activities, related to the project, including correspondence with project owners, subcontractors, and internal project team.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Generates sub/supplier contracts, change orders, COR’s and RFP’s
2. Processes RFI’s and Submittals after the review and approval of the project manager.
3. Prepares logs and tracks the status of RFI’s, and Submittals, COR’s and RFP’s
4. Ensure project contracts, insurance, affidavit, and bonds are complete and filed on time.
5. Composes and types interoffice correspondence relating to administrative functions needed.
6. Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials as needed.
7. Performs other related functions as required or assigned.

• Excellent phone etiquette
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, using accurate spelling and correct grammar
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong and accurate math skills related to construction contracts
• Ability to work independently or as a team player
• Excellent organization and file management skills
• Punctual
• Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer and company communication tools, such as e-mail, internet, and Microsoft products (i.e. Word, Excel, Office), and scheduling and construction administration software.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an office setting, preferably in a construction-related environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

●    Visual acuity to process paperwork.

●    Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time.

●    Must have tolerance to stress and act with a sense of urgency.
