Position summary: Responsible for helping to improve overall business performance and compliance for federal agency contracts, supporting the review and preparation of contract and proposal documents for a variety of procurement types (e.g., design build / design bid build, professional services), and support negotiations with government officials.

Essential functions and responsibilities

• Lead contractual and subcontracting reporting requirements on key federal contracts such as, but not limited to, the Department of Defense and General Services Administration.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions, coordinate technical scopes of work including interface with all relevant project disciplines (project controls and project management, construction management, natural and cultural resources, engineering design, finance/accounting, and the customer).
• Support development of bids and proposals through the analysis of federal RFPs, contract pre-award meetings and negotiations, and reviewing and finalizing contract award documents.
• Supports Project Managers with negotiations and document control of contracts, contract modifications (post-award contract management), and other compliance activities including tracking invoicing.
• Aid in improvement of overall firm's contract management process, ensure timely issuance of contracts and maintain performance metrics.
