Create parts lists and fabrication drawings for related designs.Generate & revise drawings for custom vibration isolated HVAC systems & equipment. Apply standardized components as manufactured by Kinetics Noise Control to all manners of HVAC equipment including pumps, air handling units, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, piping systems, and ductwork and others.Select structural components based on standardized routines to the best extent possible.  Coordinate with the structural engineering group to size components.Generate Bills of Material and shop documentation in addition to supporting manufacturing as needed.Regular communication with Inside sales, Kinetics reps & customers to clarify design data and to ensure drawing details produced are in line with specifications.Interface with the shop to determine practical-manufacturing methods for the components required.Advise sales/contractor at the jobsite to offer technical support to Kinetics reps or contractors as needed.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or 5 years’ experience in professional engineering position.Must be skilled in AutoCAD & SolidWorks cad systems. PDM experience preferred.Moderate knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, weldments and manufacturing procedures.Must be capable of producing cost effective & realistic designs.Expertise with reading construction (building and layout) documents.Understanding vibration, seismic & wind effects within building structures.Experience in interpreting building codes & exemptions is preferred; IBC & ASCEMust be able to function independently on projects within the job scope, completing jobs in a timely fashion with minimal supervision.Good verbal and written communication.
