Controller leads and directs an organization's accounting functions. Establishes and maintains the organization's overall accounting systems, procedures, and policies. Being a Controller directs all analysis and reporting of financial information including budgets, planning, and required filings and reports. Presents findings and recommendations to management. Additionally, Controller requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Typically requires the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. Typically reports to chief financial officer (CFO). The Controller manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, stand, bend, twist, balance, grasp with both hands, pinch with thumb and forefinger; reach hand/arm above shoulder height. Employees must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds; must have the ability to listen and speak on the telephone and write simultaneously; and the ability to operate the telephone system and computer keyboard and printer.

Vision - Adequate to perform the essential functions of the job such as reading office documents, spreadsheets, correspondence, presentations, and reports.

Working Conditions:
Position requires work in a normal office environment 100% of the time. No special uniforms or protective equipment is required. Hazardous materials are limited to normal office supplies.
