    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The coordinator is a One Health employee with a specialized skill set or education and makes a significant contribution to the organization’s potential to achieve its mission. Under the direction of assigned One Health leadership, coordinators work with a high sense of initiative and responsibility to provide guidance or work product in a specialty area.

     

    The program coordinator serves as the lead on various assigned grants within One Health. They will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and teams to implement a portfolio of grants within One Health. This position will function with broad discretion and autonomy. Will coordinate and implement work plans, produce required reports in a timely manner, and monitor the efficient use of program resources across multiple communities within One Health regions. 


    COMPENSATION: $20.72-$23.87 hr/DOE

    Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Utilizing advanced specialty knowledge and/or skills, provides coordination of organizational projects, programs, grants etc.
    2. Functions in a self-directed and professional manner with both external and internal stakeholders.
    3. Facilitates maintenance of and development of initiatives within service and business line functions.
    4. Collaborates and communicates within teams and across organizational and business lines to involve appropriate stakeholders in development and maintenance of specialty area initiatives.

     

    Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities 

     

    1. Writes required grant progress reports in a professional, articulate, and timely manner. Submit after approval by supervisor, if needed.
    2. Coordinates and collaborates with stakeholder teams to ensure all workplan deliverables are executed.
    3. Monitors workplan completion and coordinates with internal teams to ensure the objectives are met.
    4. Facilitates consortium meetings as needed and ensures ongoing communication with consortium partners between meetings.
    5. Maintains positive relationships with community partners and groups as well as internally across functional areas. Provides ongoing communication with community partners about all One Health services and activities.
    6. Participates in all required trainings, webinars, coaching calls, and face-to-face meetings.
    7. Guides coordinating and implementation of Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement projects.
    8. Develops, manages, and facilitates project and work plans of grant deliverables.
    9. Develops marketing and promotional materials, if applicable.
    10. Collaborates with the Behavioral Health Department and One Health’s finance group to ensure that budgeted funds are spent in an appropriate timeline and according to guidelines.
    11. Coordinates implementation of the Assessment Plan, with a focus on effective utilization of evaluation information by primary intended users.
    12. Communicates regularly with One Health staff, stakeholders, and community partners about the value of specific program activities and their impact.


    MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    Education/Certificates/Licenses:

    Required

    • Associate’s degree or in lieu of degree, four (4) years’ experience in field
    • Valid driver’s license

                      

    Preferred

    • Bachelor’s degree in public health, education, community development, or related field

     

    Experience:

    Required

    • Three (3) years’ experience in grant/program management, program evaluation, or community development work
    • Demonstrates advanced knowledge in applicable field to complete essential duties.

     

    Preferred

    • Five (5) years’ experience in grant/program management, program evaluation, or community development work
    • Grant writing experience
