    POSITION SUMMARY The Program Coordinator is a managerial staff person whose primary responsibilities are to oversee operations in multiple IEI programs and provide support and leadership to Program Managers (PMs). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to understanding, monitoring and supervising the implementation of 24-Hour Comprehensive Residential Administrative Rules; monitoring ISP, medical and program data; providing technical assistance and direction to DSPs; ensuring that all supervised staff understand and follow the policies and procedures of IEI; assisting in the hiring and training of DSPs and other staff; monitoring Therap data; coordinating ISP development and attending ONA’s and other assessments, as needed.     QUALIFICATIONS

    • Be at least 21 years of age or older
    • Possess three years of experience providing professional support services to people with disabilities
    • At least three years of relevant experience supervising employees
    • Possess a valid driver’s license for three consecutive years
    • Possess no disqualifying criminal history

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Able to read, write and comprehend English
    • Able to pass and maintain required trainings and certifications
    • Able to use a computer and internet browser to complete job-related documentation
    • Routinely push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs if required by the need of the program
    • Ensure shift coverage with short notice
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
    • Maintain effective and supportive team communication





    Requirements

    SUPERVISORY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Complete monthly one-on-one check-ins with supervised staff
    • Complete supervisory job functions:
    • --Oversee the services and documentation at assigned programs
    • --Provide positive feedback to staff and other colleagues
    • --Complete corrective actions with staff as needed
    • --Ensure upkeep of training and certifications for assigned unit

    OPERATIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure that supported people achieve their desired outcomes through monitoring of assigned programs and employees.
    • --Support people to choose, understand and learn new skills.
    • --Understand, follow through, and document support plans, goals, activities, progress, etc.
    • --Support people with daily living and personal support needs.
    • --Facilitate activities that provide people with social capital and connections to the community
    • --Provide Day Support in the community as assigned.
    • --Assist people in planning and structuring activities.
    • --Bring your own skills, strengths and interests in support of each person’s activities.
    • --Support people to exercise their rights and responsibilities in all areas of their lives.
    • Oversee licensing certification and recertification of assigned IEI programs and attend on-site reviews.
    • Maintain Motor Vehicle records for assigned IEI vehicles.
    • Ensure that the agency complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee employee productivity and performance through evaluations, recruitment and promotion.
    • Collaborating with leadership to build an environment of collective responsibility and accountability.
    • Provide effective team and project management duties, including overseeing project completion timelines and ensuring the agency’s values are the primary focus.
    • Build and maintain relationships with people receiving services, their families, agency employees, external partners, and vendors.
    • Engage in respectful communication.

    • --Monitor cleanliness of assigned programs and coordinate improvements where necessary.
    • Promote financial stability and prevent financial exploitation.
    • --Monitor adherence to budget via oversight of staffing and program expenditures.
    • --Ensure that each person’s Financial Plan is followed.
    • --Ensure adherence to agency financial and money-handling policies and procedures.
    • --Report suspected financial exploitation.
    • Maximize and responsibly utilize agency and community resources.
    • Promote the professionalism of the industry.
    • --Model behavior that reflects IEI’s values.
    • --Represent IEI in a positive manner.
    • --Understand and follow agency systems, policies and procedures.
    • --Complete time and attendance records (e.g.: Timesheet) according to agency expectations.
    • --Meet established timelines and deadlines.
    • --Maintain satisfactory attendance to work shifts, staff meetings and other assigned agency functions.
    • --In coordination with agency leadership, provide opportunities for professional growth and development and team-building for assigned programs.
