In addition, we serve typically developing children and adolescents in many of our programs.

    URGENT HIRE

    We are seeking compassionate, caring, dedicated individuals to provide Program Coordinating services to our consumers in our various group homes across Miami Dade County.

    Specific Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Ensure adherence of all employees to the rules and regulations of DCF program standards by conducting a quarterly audit with the QA team.

    2. Prepare for the annual DCF licensing review.

    3. Facilitate monthly resident meetings.

    4. Supervise Home Managers/Shift Leads.

    5. Walk through homes daily.

    6. Check log books daily.

    7. Turn in attendance every Thursday to CTF Clerk.

    8. Check and sign-off on MAR’s at least twice weekly.

    9. Submit weekly schedule with leave slips attached.

    10. Submit CTF/Petty Cash on assigned day.

    11. Follow-up on personnel requirements.

    12. Maintain performance logs.

    13. Submit skill acquisition Monitoring Forms when needed.

    14. Submit documentation of staff in-services.

    15. Meet weekly with Home Manager/Shift Leads.

    16. Review Kronos daily and ensure that all edits are completed weekly.

    17. Contact families/Support Coordinators visit Day Programs/School regularly.

    18. Eat meals with residents at least once a week.

    19. Attend at least one outing per week.

    20. Submit activity calendars by the first of each month.

    21. Conduct a staff meeting at least monthly.

    22. Ensure fire drill is conducted monthly.

    23. Attend PCI training.

    24. Meet with BPA to discuss programs monthly.

    25. Review Support Plans to ensure they are current.

    26. Report overall employee performance to the Director on a weekly basis.

    27. Maintain on-going communication with nursing services to ensure proper medical care and follow-up.

    28. Coordinate orientation of all new employees.

    29. Monitor personnel and operating budgets for each home.

    30. Ensure 24 hour, 7 days/week coverage for each home.

    31. Coordinate hurricane preparations for each home by June 1st.

    32. Coordinate the dietary needs of each home.

    33. Ensure that Universal Precautions are followed by all employees.

    34. Be available by cell phone and respond appropriately.

    35. Complete and submit purchase requisitions and packing slips for received purchases in an accurate and timely manner.

    36. Complete annual vacation planner and follow.

    37. Insure coordination of all medical appointments.

    38. Implement and/or support behavioral interventions as recommended.

    39. Interacts with residents in an appropriate and positive manner.

    40. Perform any and all related duties as dictated by the needs of each home.

    41. Submit UIR’s within 24 hours.

    42. Review IPP’s weekly.

    43. Attend Support Plan Meetings, when necessary.

    QUALIFICATIONS:(Education/Experience/Licenses/Personal Characteristics)

    Administrative Salaried Exempt

    (POSITION)

    1. A.A. or B.A. in Education or related field strongly preferred.

    2. Minimum of 5 years experience with developmentally disabled or residential setting preferred.

    3. Supervisory experience preferred.

    4. Computer experience preferred.

    5. ValidFloridadriver’s license, 3 years driving experience and an acceptable MVR.

    6. Must meet DCF Clearance Criteria

    7. Excellent communications skills required.
