Oversees designated service programs, ensuring that goals and objectives are met within the prescribed timeframes and funding parameters.
Ensures Program / grant compliance. Serve as a resource and source of contact to internal and external stakeholders. Develops and oversee program budgets exceeding $300K or multiple programs / budgets.
Responsible for supervision of multiple positions including professional program staff, volunteers, and student participants.

Coaches, mentors, and trains direct report staff. Provides continuous performance management and conducts employee performance evaluations.
Addresses performance and / or behavior issues, clarifying expectations and providing feedback.
Provides orientation to outline job requirements and expectations, policies and procedures, and proper use of tools and equipment.
Recommends improvements to current policies and procedures to improve program effectiveness and performance.
Oversees program requirements and ensures program compliance. Provides review and analysis of adherence to grant and program requirements, objectives and goals.
Responds to questions regarding grant and program compliance to external sources, including State and Agency contacts.
Demonstrates cultural awareness and the ability to conduct business with local agencies.
Qualifications
Knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations. Knowledge of supervisory principals and fiscal practices.
Ability to effectively manage a department and employees. Ability to develop effective working relationships with social service providers and partners.
Ability to read and interpret program regulations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills.
Proficiency with a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Valid Driver’s License and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.
