WORK DAY/YEAR: 8 hours per day; Monday - Friday; 260 days/year: 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. (30 minute non paid lunch)

SALARY: $12.55 per hour

Job Summary:
- Operates high-speed copiers and a variety of other support equipment (i.e. collators, electric punch and binder, cutters, staplers) to complete printing projects for school district staff and public. Approximately 1,500,000 – 2,000,000 per month.
- Works independently without supervision, organizes daily work schedule, and prioritizes work to determine the order of completion of tasks.
- Receives work orders online and in person. Must clarify work requests.
- Cleans, does preventive maintenance and general upkeep on all machines and equipment. Initiates repair requests as needed.
- Performs other duties within the level of responsibility of position as assigned by the Lead Copy Specialist.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating high-speed copy machines and a variety of other printing and bindery equipment. Experience with customer service.
- Experience with customer service.
- Ability to count collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash customers.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer knowledge and experience or ability to learn computer processes and/or new programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Adobe acrobat and Gmail are preferred.
- Working environment: climate-controlled print shop, using current printing equipment and office technology. Requires tolerance for constant noise from running copy machines. Work Environment does require closed toe shoes to be worn.
- Physical requirements: Standing for long periods, must be able to lift 50-60 lbs. and push carts loaded with up to 100 lbs. of paper.
- Mental requirements: Ability to communicate through email, in person, on the phone as well as the ability to read and write text of low to medium complexity and to complete math computations related to work orders and chargebacks. Ability to do touch screen programming for complex copy projects.
- Regular, on-time attendance is required.
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
